Exclusive poll reveals voter trust in Chris Minns’ housing plan has plummeted

An increasing number of Aussies think the cost of living is getting worse. Two-thirds of Australians feel poorer than last year and the housing outlook is bleak despite a big, bold budget to level the property playing field, exclusive research shows.

The Victorian government has been hit with a grim election warning as almost two-thirds of voters no longer believe they can remedy the state’s housing crisis. In a new report from independent advocacy group Amplify Australia, 65 per cent of Victorians have indicated they do not trust the state government to improve housing in the next year.
